Tiana Hesmert of Coquitlam's Club Aviva won the gold medal in the double-mini trampoline's Open category at the Canada Cup international gymnastics competition last weekend in Langley.
A 20-year-old Canadian national level athlete, Hesmert also placed seventh in trampoline for women aged 15 and over.
Other countries which had athletes competing in the Canada Cup included Great Britain, Germany, France and Japan.
