Coquitlam Adanacs were far from gracious hosts as they trounced their struggling crosstown rivals, the Port Coquitlam Saints, Wednesday in BC Junior A Lacrosse League action.

Jr. Adanacs got out of the gate quickly, posting seven first-period goals en route to a 16-2 final at Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex.

Chase McIntyre lead the A's in scoring, recording four goals and four assists. Saints lefty Tre Mason scored PoCo's only two goals.

PoCo player Patrick Thornhill was ejected from the game halfway through the final period, after racking up four game misconducts and an unsportsmanlike penalty for fighting.

Coquitlam and PoCo currently sit at opposite ends of the BCJALL standings. The Saints are back in action tonight (Friday) at home against the Langley Thunder, and also on Sunday when the Saints take on the Nanaimo Timbermen.

Coquitlam has a break until Tuesday, when the A's will visit Queens Park Arena for a matchup against the New Westminster Salmonbellies.
