Junior golfers shoot to top of pack

A trio of Tri-City residents were top-three finishers at the Canadian Junior Golf Association's BC Fall Classic last weekend at Vancouver's Fraserview Golf Course.

A trio of Tri-City residents were top-three finishers at the Canadian Junior Golf Association's BC Fall Classic last weekend at Vancouver's Fraserview Golf Course.

Coquitlam's Trevor Garofano finished tied for second in the boys 15-19 age division after posting a two-round score of three-under-par 69-72-141, knotting him with Langley's Callum Robinson (71-70-141). Richmond's Chris Crisologo won by two shots with 68-71-139.

Port Moody's Valentina Trillo placed second outright in the Girls Open category after shooting 74-76-150, just one stroke behind winner Annie Songeyun Lee of Surrey (77-72-149). In the boys 14-and-under division, Coquitlam's Henry Lee was third with a three-over 78-69-147.
