The Coquitlam Wildcat offence got bogged down in the pelting rain and howling winds that swirled across the field Sunday in North Delta. The Wildcats fell 25-0 to the host Longhorns in peewee division football action.
Ethan Shuen led the Wildcat rushing attack that managed to give the defence a breather against the strong Longhorn ground game. Shuen had a strong game on the defensive side of the ball as well, joining fellow linebackers Keyshawn Dorsey and Dominic Belanger-Porta in providing support to the rotating defensive line of Aaron Tung, Ryan Hamilton, Bronson DePaoli, Lucas Price, Zack Kristmanson and Hussein Sabry.
The 2-2 Wildcats return home Sunday to face the New Westminster Orange Hyacks.
