The second largest single-day event in the Coquitlam Middle School Athletic Association (CMSAA) season- behind only the SD43 track and field meet - hit the floor Thursday at Maple Creek.
About 450 Coquitlam middle school students in Grades 6 through 8 have participated in wrestling this year, said CMSAA president and Kwayhquitlum athletic director Ian Robertson, with Thursday's event being their final chance to demonstrate safety, spirit and determination the sport offers.
