Despite a great run for gold, the PoCo Fury girls Under-17 soccer side settled for silver at the 2012 B.C. Provincial B Cup last weekend in Kelowna.
The Fury were trimmed 2-1 in the final by the Nanaimo Impact, whom they fell to in double overtime in the Coastal Cup earlier this season.
The Fury opened tourney play with an 8-0 romp over South Kootenay, with Kelsa Lefebvre striking for four goals. They then handled North Vancouver 3-0 before rolling to a 6-0 triumph over Nelson, finishing round-robin play with 17 goals and none against, thanks to three Aneet Sandhu shutouts.
