PoMo woman wins Vancouver half-marathon

Natasha Wodak-Fraser of Port Moody won the women's half-marathon portion of the 41st annual BMO Vancouver Marathon on Sunday.

Natasha Wodak-Fraser of Port Moody won the women's half-marathon portion of the 41st annual BMO Vancouver Marathon on Sunday.

Wodak-Fraser finished in a time of one hour, 15 minutes and 12 seconds -- 19 ticks faster than runner-up Allison Macsas of Austin, Tex.

Vancouver's Lucy Smith was third in 1:18:38.

The half-marathon distance is roughly 21 kilometres, or 13.1 miles. About 15,000 runners competed in the entire event.
