Port Moody Curling Club stages open house

The Port Moody Curling Club is getting ready for a new season. The club will host an open house and league registration from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13 at the Ice House Lounge in the Port Moody Recreation Complex, 300 Ioco Rd.

The club will host an open house and league registration from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13 at the Ice House Lounge in the Port Moody Recreation Complex, 300 Ioco Rd. The event is open to all ages.

The club will also host a learn-to-curl clinic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 in the Ice House Lounge. The $35 cost includes lunch.

The clinic is open to those over 19, both beginners and those who just want a refresher course and some practice time before the season begins.

You can register on line at www.portmoodycurling.ca and participants are advised to bring clean shoes and dress warmly.
