The Tri-City Predators finished up their Juvenile Female Hockey League season with a win in the championship game of the Annual Fools on Ice Tournament in Everett last week.
Amanda Costa and Carly Potter both scored for the Tri-City squad, which defeated the Vancouver Angels 2-1 in the gold medal game of the tourney. Devyn Waterhouse had a strong showing in net, helping her team kill off a five-on-three power play in the dying minutes of the game.
The Tri-City Predators consist of Devyn Waterhouse, Carly Potter, Melanie Deboer, Jackie McCurrach, Jamie Gray, Jaylynn Henry, Cassandra Soares, Amanda Costa, Julie Spooner, Jadranka Dugandzic, Kaila Guimond, Kiera Thompson and Rayna Buglioni. The team is coached by Katrina McCurrach and Paul Soares.
