The Terry Fox Ravens had a strong showing at the fourth annual Province Gran Forza, a track meet at the Richmond Oval.
Terry Fox runner Conner McKee took first place in his section in the 50 m race, finishing with a time of 6.46, ahead of Oak Bay secondary's Larry Lu. Meanwhile, Adeyami Taylor-Lewis, also took first place in his section with a time of 6.20.
In the 800 m run, the Raven's Isaac Wadhani was edged out of first place by less than a second by Vancouver's William Hoy, who finished with 2:02.96. Wadhani also took silver in the third section of the race.

Terry Fox athlete Mike West took second in his flight, jumping 2.7 m, while teammate Brad Peters finished third with 2.68 m.
Isaiah Isaiah took a silver medal in 5.43 kg senior shot put, throwing a distance of 11.59 m, just short of the 12.68 m thrown by Eraulan Kumanan of Vancouver College.
Kyle Samoen, meanwhile, threw 9.87 m to take bronze in his round.
Fox also finished fourth in the 4 by 200 relay, with teammates McKee, Wadhani, Mason Woochuck and Emmanuel Anigobe just missing the top three.
The Raven's other relay squad was made up of Wadhani, Taylor-Lewis, West and Austen Butler and took second in their section.
COMO RELAY
The 36th Como Lake Relays will take place next week, with more than 2,000 Grade 4 and 5 students from across the school district running in the event.
The event, which is the largest of its kind, will run on April 16 and 17 as a way of encouraging kids to participate in physical fitness. Races will take place between 3 and 5 p.m. rain or shine, with students running the 1.2 km distance around the lake in groups of four.
