Coquitlam's Ashley Sanderson struck silver at the 2014 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships.

Sanderson was lead for Kalia Van Osch's Nanaimo rink that fell 7-6 to Kelsey Rocque of Alberta last weekend in Liverpool, N.S. Alberta never trailed in the game, with B.C. drawing even with a deuce in the eighth. But Rocque's team was able to blank the ninth and keep the hammer in the 10th where they scored a single for the win.

The Van Osch rink finished second overall in the round-robin and defeated Nova Scotia's Mary Fay in the semis to advance to the finals. Sanderson was named to the second all-star team for her record of 80%.
