Mundy Park has hosted everything from baseball tournaments to lacrosse games, but a unique event will be held this weekend in the forest around Spani Pool.
The B.C. Tree Climbing Championships will take place on Saturday, Sept. 13 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., drawing competitors from across the Pacific Northwest. Members of the public are invited to attend and two members of Coquitlam Urban Forestry section - Aidon Pyne and Gus Amundson - will take part.
