Three members of the Tri-Cities Female Ice Hockey Association will be showing off their skills at the BC Winter Games in Mission this week.
Forward Madeleine Ericsson and defenceman Alaiah Faisal-Uher were chosen by the Fraser Valley squad, while Melissa Phillips will play with Fraser River Delta during the provincial competition.
The trio was selected during two under-16 tryout sessions last month, looking for spots on one of the eight teams representing various zones around British Columbia.
Megan Cave, another bantam rep player with the Tri-Cities Female Ice Hockey Associatoin, will also be attending this week's Games, however she will be leaving her hockey stick at home. She is attending the BC Winter Games as a speed skater and will be competing in the under-16 category.
