Tri-City athletes played a major role in some of the 49 meet records that fell by the wayside in front of a packed house at the legacy from the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

Coquitlam's Nathan George set a personal best time of 6.91 seconds in winning the youth division 60-metre event. George's teammate with the Trinity Western University Spartans James Linde, also of Coquitlam, finished third in the 60-m in 7.03 seconds and placed second in the 300-m in a time of 35.67.

Jasmine Lew of Coquitlam won the 60-m for 14 and 15-year-old girls in a time of 8.06 seconds.

Al Percival and Fernanda De Pinna-Ho of the Tri-City Greyhounds won the 60-m in the masters division, finishing in times of 8.43 and 10.84 seconds, respectively.
