Tumbling tourney comes to Tri-Cities

More than 160 athletes from across Western Canada will converge on the Port Coquitlam Sports Complex this weekend for the trampoline and tumbling championships.

More than 160 athletes from across Western Canada will converge on the Port Coquitlam Sports Complex this weekend for the trampoline and tumbling championships.

The event, which runs between May 13 and 15, will feature male and female athletes, all vying for a the Western Canada Cup in events ranging from trampoline, synchro, DMT and tumbling.

Opening ceremonies will kick-off at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by preliminary rounds for the trampoline and DMT competition.

Admission is $5 for adults and $12 for a three-day pass. Children 6 to 12 cost $2 or $5 for a three-day pass. Family passes, which include two adults and two children, cost $10 or $25 for a three-day pass.
