If you have a library card from the Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam or Port Moody libraries and are looking for a day of fun next week, the PNE has a deal for book lovers.

Wednesday, visitors can flash their library card to get into The Fair for $6 — a $10 savings on the general gate pass for 14- to 64-year-olds.

The discounted admission is good for one card, per person; entry is free for kids under the age of five, and $5 for children ages six to 13.

Card holders can stop by the Library Zone (near Toon City) to take part in the free activities with librarians from around B.C.

And the Fraser Valley Regional Library network, which includes PoCo’s Terry Fox Library, will have its Library Live and On Tour vehicle plus a pedal-powered Book Chariot and Playground items such as green screens, telescopes and Keva planks.

It’s the third time B.C. libraries have partnered with the PNE to offer a concessionary price at The Fair.
