Travellers on the Millennium Line between Port Moody and Coquitlam had to take a shuttle to allow conservation officers to deal with an injured bear on the track. The incident occurred around noon Friday and lasted about an hour.

An injured bear on the Millennium Line tracks shut down SkyTrain between Moody Centre and Coquitlam Central for about an hour Friday afternoon.

Passengers were required to take a shuttle between the stations starting around noon to allow conservation officers to deal with the bear, according to a TransLink spokesperson.

The inconvenience required travellers to add about 10 minutes to their travel time.
