Mike Farnworth is the MLA for Port Coquitlam while Selina Robinson serves the constituents in Coquitlam-Maillardville.

A small shuffle in the provincial cabinet today (Wednesday) has resulted in less work for one Coquitlam MLA.

Premier John Horgan appointed Anne Kang as the new minister of citizens service — a portfolio previously held by Coquitlam-Maillardville MLA Selina Robinson on an interim basis following the cabinet resignation of Jinny Sims last October.

Robinson continues as minister of municipal affairs and housing.

Horgan also named Michelle Mungall as the minister of jobs, economic development and competitiveness (formerly the ministry of jobs, trade and technology), switching her role as minister of energy, mines and petroleum resources with Bruce Ralston.

Meanwhile, Port Coquitlam MLA Mike Farnworth retains his position as the minister of public safety and Solicitor General.
