The warehouse giant Costco has rolled out a new home delivery service that allows shoppers to pick through the food retailers' oversized shelves with the click of a button.
The new service is being launched with the online food delivery platform Instacart, meaning you don’t need a Costco membership to have many of the stores' products delivered to your door, according to a press release.
Costco Canada has also created a new Canadian member-only site, which provides member benefits and same-day delivery, also through Instacart.
Instacart counts residents of Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Anmore and Belcarra among the 70% of Canadian households it delivers to, according to the press release.
Like many grocery chains, restaurants and retailers, Costco has rolled out a variety of new measures amid the COVID-19 pandemic, including physical distancing measures, sanitization and Plexiglass barriers.
