Tickets for Crossroads Hospice Society's biggest fundraiser of the year are now on sale.
But the deadline to purchase entry into the Treasures of Christmas gala ends at 10 a.m. next Friday.
Held at the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver show theatre in Coquitlam, the 26th annual event aims to bring in more than $100,000 for hospice operations at Port Moody's Inlet Centre through ticket sales, a raffle and live and silent auctions.
Guests can also bid on one of four Giving Trees, with the gifts under each Christmas tree and its decor being donated to the BC Children's Hospital, the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau, Coquitlam RCMP victim services and the Tri-City Transitions Society; the proceeds from the tree auction go to Crossroads while the winners receive a tax receipt.
Sponsored in part by The Tri-City News, the gala on Nov. 23 starts with a champagne reception followed by a Christmas dinner buffet and wine, entertainment and complimentary valet parking.
Broadcaster Fiona Forbes and Hard Rock's Johnny DeFazio will emcee. DJ Joe will spin the dance tunes.
