Get out your umbrella: the Tri-City forecast calls for a week of rain

Temperatures will dip below the seasonal average.

The Weather Network forecasts light rain overnight Friday, April 12. That will pick up as we move into Saturday when a low-pressure system is predicted to roll in off the Pacific, dumping about 20 cm of rain throughout the day.

Sunday through Monday, expect a mix of clouds and rain with a high of 11 C.

Tuesday will be a weird one, with a mix of sun and up to 20 mm of rain.

Expect more rain for the end of the week with a between 40 and 60 per cent change of showers as temperature highs rise slightly to 13 C.

While April started off with seasonal temperatures slightly above average, the next week will be just the opposite, with temperatures dipping below the average for this time of year.
