There are few details as to why the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has cordoned off a home in the Mary Hill neighbourhood of Port Coquitlam.
Officers have been on the scene at Mcchessney Street and McPherson Drive since at least Wednesday and IHIT Sgt. Frank Jang said the investigation is related to a previous incident.
"I can confirm that it is us [IHIT] on that property in regards to one of our ongoing investigations," he said in an email. "Can't say which one, I'm afraid. It is not a new homicide, as many are wondering."
Jang would not say when the initial incident occurred or what led them to the PoCo home.
