There is still time for Coquitlam residents to tell city hall how they want their tax dollars spent.

The city’s interactive Citizen Budget tool will stay online until Wednesday, Sept. 30, giving participants an opportunity to provide feedback on this year’s financial plan. Council uses the input when making decisions during budget deliberations, which are expected to take place in November.

“The easy-to-follow process takes about eight minutes or less and can be completed on both desktop and mobile devices,” the city said in a press release.

“The tool allows residents and businesses to provide important feedback, while also showing how each city services — and changes to funding those services — directly impacts your property tax bill.”
