I think it's time our MLAs, etc. get the government to change the law regarding leaving the scene of an accident.
Lots of people do this and not a lot happens to them, maybe a small fine. They all use the same excuse: "I was scared. Didn't know what to do."
And this always comes two to three days later, with themselves in with their lawyer.
I bet a million dollars the first big reason is drinking, so 72 hours later, even a blood best would be clean.
Also, anyone who helps hide them needs to face harsher penalties.
