Re. "Spray ban possible" (The Tri-City News, March 9).
A letter to Coquitlam Coun. Selina Robinson:
Thank you for your persistence in bringing forward the issue of banning the use of pesticides for cosmetic reasons.
As a parent and Coquitlam resident who cares about human influences on our global environment and health, I totally support your initiative. We need to care less about killing weeds and more about the health of our future - kids and other living things included.
This one's a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned. Let's get it done and move on to other issues, such as reducing levels of poverty in our communities.
