That's what Port Mann Highway 1 project officials are asking drivers to do in the coming weeks as key components of the Cape Horn interchange and bridge approach are put into place.

For months, drivers have witnessed seemingly daily changes to the landscape along the freeway and adjacent Lougheed Highway in Coquitlam and more changes are in the works as new overpasses are connected and three lanes of the bridge open later this month.

Some nightly closures have been put in place, requiring detours, and many drivers have responded by changing their routes or altering their schedules. There has been the occasional glitch but, for the most part, daytime commuters have been little affected.

Kudos go to Kiewit-Flatiron and the Transportation Investment Corporation for keeping traffic flowing during PMH1 construction.

What do you say?

Have PMH1 builders done a good job managing the flow of traffic during Port Mann construction?
