Re. "Evergreen Line station names announced for Coquitlam and Port Moody" (tricitynews.com, March 23).
Finally, we have the much-needed Evergreen Line starting and hopefully it will be finished.
My questions are: Where is the end of the line? Near the Douglas College Douglas Lam campus? Surely not. Why is the terminus is at that location next to Evergreen Cultural Centre? Why hang a left at Coquitlam Central Station at all? Surely it makes more sense to stop at Coquitlam Central, with cost savings, or to have continued on towards Shaughnessy Street in Port Coquitlam, with prospect of a future phase towards Maple Ridge or Mission?
