Is councillor Darrell Penner really so stupid to think that any legal hunter would try to purposely wound any animal? Whether by gun or bow, every hunter's aim is for a quick clean kill. It's fear mongering like this that puts everyone at risk.
Also, the areas in question are not in locations where his high tax-paying home owners are crammed in houses six feet apart. It's time to venture out of city hall once in a while Darrell. Maybe he could turn his attention into keeping all the law-breaking dog owners from letting their dogs crap all over our local baseball diamonds and soccer fields.
