INQUIRING REPORTER: Does your diet align with Canada's new food guide?

Call it a gut feeling, but I think people were ready for a change. Canada’s new food guide was unveiled last week. It’s the first time the healthy eating manual has been significantly updated in more than a decade. The broad strokes of the guide boil down to this: eat more plant-based foods, consume less dairy and meat, and make water your drink of choice. The new food groups have been whittled down to proteins, whole grains, and fruits and veg.
