Re. "Letter: Idle firefighters should rake up their own leaves" (Letters, tricitynews.com, Oct. 24).
So, according to the writer of the referenced letter to the editor, the firefighters at Coquitlam's Nelson Street fire hall should rake up leaves.
Perhaps not doing so is a union thing or maybe it is the time it takes to respond to an emergency when every second counts.
Whatever the reason, it appears the writer is just a few steps away and could do all of us a favour and do the raking. If that's not in the cards maybe walk over and provide the rakes and some coffee. Better still, call me and I will help you with the raking.
I truly hope this letter is in the spirit of a little humour. Everyone loves firefighters and nurses.
