Re. “Rough outing in Farnworth stronghold” (The Tri-City News, April 21).
The BC Liberal candidate in Port Coquitlam, Susan Chambers, is quoted as saying that “the community saw more capital investments from the government” during the four-year tenure of a Liberal MLA representing the riding than it has since the NDP’s Mike Farnworth regained the seat.
I see this as the sign of a severely partisan BC Liberal provincial government, not the lack of effort by Mr. Farnworth as the opposition MLA in the area.
