I live in the Eagle Ridge community in Coquitlam and I would like to raise a concern to the traffic situation on Falcon Drive.
Motorists driving on Falcon Drive from Guildford to the Barnet Highway look to be exceeding the 50 km/hr posted speed limit, especially during busy hours.
It looks dangerous because there are many houses and townhouses across from both sides of the street and because Falcon Drive is not a straight road, drivers might not see the road conditions ahead.
Quite a number of young families live here, with kids walking to school and back home in this neighbourhood. It is very difficult to cross the street, especially after 3 p.m. on weekdays.
Please, Coquitlam RCMP and city council, pay attention to this area and do more to catch speeders and slow down traffic.
