Letter: Tri-Cities horse owners need to clean up their 'steaming piles' for the rest of us

Cycling along the Traboulay [PoCo] Trail and over the Pitt River Bridge this [Thursday] morning (Sept. 2), I encountered four heaps of horse droppings, three of which were on the pedestrian/cycling lane over the bridge.

I wondered, while trying to avoid the steaming piles, why horse owners/riders do not feel the need to clean up, like most dog owners do?

If there aren't bylaws in place there should be.

If you can afford to own a horse, please have the decency to clean up the mess.
