Re. “Coquitlam cranky over plan for Brunette project in NW” (The Tri-City News, Sept. 11).
So, Coquitlam city councillors are concerned about gridlock as a result of a development in neighbouring New Westminster.
This is the height of hypocrisy.
I don’t think they paid much attention to the traffic conditions that were created in neighbouring Port Coquitlam as a result of development on Burke Mountain. All the traffic originating from these developments has to move through Port Coquitlam. I bet the people living along Coast Meridian did not have a say in the matter, or about how the increased traffic was going to affect them.
