The Editor,
Re. “Condom machines in schools removed” (The Tri-City News, Nov. 25).
Rob Zambrano of School District 43 gave three reasons for removing the machines: “The vending machines weren’t being used, sometimes weren’t working and keeping them stocked posed a challenge.”
My question is this: If the machines weren’t being used, why did they have to be kept stocked? Also, was the “challenge” posed by stocking simply that there was never room for more stock?
