The Editor,
Re. "$2.4M+ for changing rooms at Poirier rec facility" (The Tri-City News, July 11).
Dear Coquitlam mayor, council and staff:
The feasibility study to justify the conversion of the curling rink at the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex to a hockey and skating rink was based on a cost of $1.2 million.
Now that the costs have escalated to $3.6 million to upwards of $4.1 million, does the cost/benefit analysis still justify the eviction of curlers?
