Port Coquitlam has the best rink - bar none.
Our sons have played hockey in PoCo for 10 years and I think the city should be recognized for the great job it does with staff, maintenance and operation of the arena and recreation complex.
Some arenas are cold and uncomfortable places to watch hockey but PoCo sets the bar high. The staff are always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, and the facility is always clean and well managed. The concession serves pretty good food and the coffee is pretty decent for an arena.
This public arena is available to everyone in our community for a reasonable price and we are fortunate to have such a great facility.
Good job to the city of PoCo, and especially to the hard-working and always pleasant staff.
