Let's get our facts correct first and foremost. In our last provincial election the BC Liberal Party did what they said they would not do - adopt the HST.Grassroots opposition gathered the required signatures and forced government to become accountable and now we have a referendum. It is badly worded but the 'yes' means 'no' question must be still be settled by B.C. voters.

Combining the federal and provincial levels of taxes makes economic sense to both business and consumers. What bothers me most is why does the government has to spend $7 million of taxpayers' money to convince me to vote no? I am voting yes in the referendum because of the serious breech of democratic principles involved and I am not waiting for another election to be lied to again.
