The Editor,
Re. "Staff cuts of more than 140 positions eyed" (tricitynews.com).
It would appear that all the School District 43 board of education members and senior staff continue to be paid even after being responsible for the $8-million overspending in the 2012/'13 school year.
Due to the failure to perform their most important function of balancing the district's budget, the board and senior staff should resign or at least the chair, Melissa Hyndes, and superintendent Tom Grant should be fired.
What does it take for these people to lose their jobs?
