Every once in a while, a new condominium project comes along that ticks all the right boxes: superior construction, a natural setting, thoughtful amenities, a choice of modern designs and, surprisingly, affordability.

Tick. Tick. Tick. Welcome to life at Highpointe—an innovative collection of 153 condominium residences offering a whole new level of urban park-side living in Maple Ridge.

Breaking ground this spring, Highpointe is nestled into a quiet residential community on a ridge adjacent to seven acres of parkland. It boasts amazing views of the Fraser River to the south and west, mountain views to the north, and beautiful Mount Baker to the south-east.

All of your local amenities are just steps away, including the Maple Ridge Town Centre, new Evergreen Line express bus and the West Coast Express to Vancouver. There are also fresh markets, restaurants and cafes, the Arts Centre, library and a leisure and fitness centre nearby.

Those who seek adventure will love Maple Ridge’s outdoor offerings including hiking, biking and equestrian trails, as well as fishing and boating in the many lakes and streams including Golden Ears Provincial Park.

Advanced superior construction

Aside from its fantastic location, Highpointe’s hallmark is its superior construction—the only one of its kind currently underway in the Fraser Valley.

“Its 100 per cent steel and concrete construction,” says Wayne Lyle, the sales and marketing director. “It’s simply better, more energy-efficient and safer construction than wood frame. There’s no shrinkage or warping, it’s mould- and fire-resistant, and provides better insulation and soundproofing.”

Local developer Concordia also opted for an environmentally friendly heat recovery system that allows each home to be heated or cooled to the ideal temperature all year long.

“As a first-time buyer or an empty nester, you know you are making a solid investment for years to come,” says Lyle.

Elevated design features

The interior design of Highpointe homes also marks a higher standard of living. Each home boasts nine to 18-foot ceilings, large windows, Silestone counters, a five-element gas cooktop, wall ovens, Kohler fixtures, Napoleon fireplaces and innovative Lumon solariums.

“In winter, you have a fully enclosed solarium where you can still enjoy the feeling of being outside while expanding your interior living space,” says Lyle. “Then in summer, just retract the glass and you’ve got an open breezy balcony.”

New homeowners also have plenty of choice when it comes to layout. The development features two-storey city homes, two-storey top floor sky lofts, as well as close to 30 unique one-level plans including studios, one-bed and two-bed plus den options.

And there’s always room for guests thanks to Highpointe’s amenities, which include both a fully equipped guest suite and communal office hub.

With pricing starting from the high-$200,000’s, it’s no surprise that the building is already over one third sold in just a few short weeks.

To celebrate its grand opening, Highpointe is inviting everyone to a ground-breaking ceremony on March 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be some draw prizes including fly-fishing lessons, equestrian trail rides, and golf passes – all to highlight Maple Ridge’s unique outdoor lifestyle.
