Arguably the most highly anticipated aspect of summer is the rain clouds clearing, the temperatures rising and the sun finally emerging from its slumber for a long overdue salutation. What does this all mean? It’s time to get back outside!

Sasamat Outdoor Centre offers play-based learning and outdoor experiences for children aged four to 16 in a natural space while still being close to home. Just 45 minutes from Vancouver, Sasamat is an accessible outdoor centre for all in the Lower Mainland that believes time spent outdoors is time well spent, especially when we have the privilege of doing so together.

From fostering leadership skills in older kids to promoting a passion for the outdoors in your little ones, Sasamat instills the philosophy that the possibilities are as endless as your child’s potential.

While spaces are filling up fast, some of the centre’s incredibly popular summer camps, including the Ridgerunners, Counsellor-in-Training and Sasamites programs still have availability.

Reserve your spot before spaces run out by visiting sasamat.org.

In our ever-evolving digital landscape, equipping children with the techniques to utilize technology is crucial to setting them up for success. Still, it’s not all spreadsheets and emails.

Code Ninjas, the world’s largest and fastest-growing kid's coding franchise – with over 400 locations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom – offers a variety of spring, summer and winter camp coding programs where children learn problem-solving, critical thinking and STEM skills in a fun, safe and inspiring environment.

Focusing on how kids aged five to 14 learn, Code Ninjas teaches coding through game development using an in-person curriculum with real instructors. This approach allows students to receive hands-on coding experience and retain information better while building future-proof skills.

Outside seasonal camps, Code Ninja also offers after-school programs, field trips, birthday parties and special promos for teachers and schools.

Summer camps are on sale now. To learn more and reserve a spot for your child, visit codeninjas.com/coquitlam-bc-ca.
