Bella Gift Baskets in Vancouver creates and delivers wow-inspiring personalized gift baskets using an assortment of hand-picked local products. The net result is that every gift basket is not only custom-designed for the person it’s going to, it’s amazingly unique.

“The personalized part of it is very important for me,” says owner Michelle Di Tomaso. “We like to incorporate something a little personal about the recipient so they know the basket was made especially for them and not thought of last minute. I like to get to know my clients… building relationships. It’s the real fun part of my business.”

Di Tomaso started making gift baskets as a hobby business in the mid-1990s, but after successfully battling breast cancer, she took stock of her priorities and decided she wanted to dedicate herself full-time to her growing gift basket business. Today she boasts a long list of loyal customers.

“I found that the gift baskets were my creative outlet,” she says. “I really enjoy delivering them myself so I can see the recipients reaction.  It makes the entire creative process so rewarding.”

Known as much for her outstanding quality as she is for her personal touch, Di Tomaso also knows the importance of giving back. Along with donating her creative talents to local charitable causes like the Vancouver Canucks Dice & Ice fundraiser and Pink Shirt Ladies Luncheon, she’s a proud supporter of locally produced materials.

“I know what it’s like to be the little guy in Vancouver,” she says. “It helps our economy, I make great friends with these suppliers and they are loyal. We work together to succeed together.”
