With 23 years experience as a registered nurse and a family background in construction, Lisa Borsato is well –positioned to help clients figure out how to get the home they want.

"I basically grew up on a construction site thanks to my Dad and his family," Lisa laughs, "And my years in nursing taught me how to understand people's needs and emotions."

Choosing Lisa as a real estate professional means signing up for the full service treatment.

"I don't just sell your house," Lisa explains. "I work with you beforehand to prepare you for selling and buying a new home, and I follow up after the fact to make sure everything is working out."

As an award-winning realtor with RE/MAX All Points Realty Group, Lisa uses marketing, both web-based and mail outs, to ensure that her clients' listings receive maximum exposure.

"That's one benefit of using a professional realtor," Lisa says. "When you sell your home yourself, it's unlikely that it will get the same exposure that I can offer. Also, we're dealing with legal contracts. It's helpful to have someone with experience take care of things so you're protected."

If you're in the market for a new home, Lisa recommends getting pre-approved for financing first.

"That way, you know exactly what you can afford. It can be really disappointing to have your heart set on a home, only to find out that you can't afford the monthly payments. Once a client is preapproved for financing, then we can look at homes in the appropriate price range."

Once an offer is made, Lisa often helps clients find contractors for renovations or offers suggestions for design ideas.

"Because of my connection with the construction industry, I have a lot of contacts," she says. "When clients ask about who to hire for renovations, I can make some personal recommendations.  I can direct them to people who can provide suggestions and make sure they get the product that fits their needs."

A testament to Lisa 's client service is the fact that people come back to her after buying a house.

"I had a client recently who bought a home through me a couple of years ago," she says. "They've saved a little money and are ready to do some updates and renovations. They contacted me for suggestions and ideas and I was able to help point them in the right direction."
