Located just a few minutes east from the Coquitlam Centre Mall, Dinakis Mediterranean Grill was voted ‘Favourite Greek Restaurant in the Tri-Cities’ by the Tri-City News readers six years in a row. With a broad menu that features customer favourites such as dry ribs, roasted lamb, chicken marsala, calamari dinner plates, and moussaka—not to mention Happy Hour drinks—the authentic Greek restaurant has clearly found its niche.

“We made it a priority to keep prices reasonable while ensuring that the quality of the food was the very best,” says Noori, who points out that all of his dishes are made from scratch, with ingredients sourced from reputable suppliers. “We aspire to be what we refer to as an ‘upscale neighbourhood restaurant.’ And I think we’ve hit that middle ground perfectly.”

Dinakis Mediterranean Grill has added a take-out menu for families and customers on the go, and also offers free delivery to all of Port Coquitlam and some areas of Coquitlam, as well as a catering service.

“We hope to one day build a program that would provide a day of complimentary food for servicemen and women, such as our police officers and firefighters in the Tri-cities area,” says Noori. “We are just really passionate about authentic Greek food, great service, and connecting to the community around us.”
