Girls and women can lace up their skates this winter to shoot some pucks at Coquitlam’s Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex.
Girls ages seven and up can drop in for the Stick, Ring & Puck sessions on Fridays from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m.
Participants must have their own CSA-approved helmet, hockey gloves, stick and puck; a full cage is needed for girls 18 years and under.
Meanwhile, women can join the female-only adult hockey nights on Saturdays from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. at the centre (633 Poirier St., Coquitlam).
Regular admission rates apply; however, goalies get free entry.
Players can sign up for drop-ins 48 hours in advance.
Proof of vaccination is required, along with a piece of government-issued ID, for anyone over the age of 12.
To register, call 604-927-4386 or visit www.coquitlam.ca/registration.
