Pull out the boxes of holiday decorations and your lights, it's time to prepare for the annual Christmas Tree Festival in Port Coquitlam.

This year, the fundraising event is being expanded, with trees to be set up in multiple locations.

But, as with all previous tree festivals, the public will be able to vote on their favourite tree.

The 10th annual festival in support of the PoCo Heritage Museum and Archives is being organized by the Downtown PoCo Business Improvement Association and registration is now open to individuals, businesses and non-profit groups.

Once registered, participants will be assigned their spot at one of the following locations:

  • Port Coquitlam City Hall
  • Leigh Square Art Gallery
  • Terry Fox Library
  • Port Coquitlam Community Centre
  • PoCo Heritage Museum

Alternatively, Port Coquitlam business owners can keep their tree on location at their Port Coquitlam business and become a scavenger hunt location

The price to enter is $125 for a business, non-profit community groups may enter at no cost. ]
