The Editor:

Yes, there are nice Tri-City residents here.

My husband and I were having dinner at The Noodle House restaurant on Prairie Avenue in Port Coquitlam on Saturday (Nov. 5) between 5 and 6 p.m.

After enjoying the good food, my husband went up to pay ($36.50 + tax) and we were told by the server that someone had already paid for us!

We had to have them repeat what they said and, yes, an anonymous person paid for our dinner.

We were in shock as this has never happened to us before. We still can’t believe it.

We are not on social media so we have no way to say thank you, but if this letter gets published and this person or persons see this or hear about this, thank you very much for your kind and unexpected gesture.

You certainly made our day that night!

We won’t forget and will pay it forward. Many thanks for your generosity!
