- Pokémon TCG Tournament
Kids ages nine to 13 are invited to participate in a single knockout format Pokémon Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 27 starting at 11:30 a.m. Prizes will be handed out to first, second and third place winners, with small takeaways for all participants. - Hobby Bingo
Dive into the wonderful world of hobbies with the Hobby Bingo contest. Each bingo sheet you complete and return will give you the chance to win one of two $50 gift certificates to Coquitlam Centre mall. Pick up a Hobby Bingo sheet in person at the Poirier or City Centre branches or download one from coqlibrary.ca/about/news.

- Afternoon Art-Quilling
Quilling is an art form using strips of rolled paper that is shaped and glued to create decorative designs. You can learn basic shapes and make a simple card to take home in this beginner class. Materials will be provided for the session on Wednesday, Jan. 10 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Registration is required.
- Simple Sewing for Teens
Take on a new hobby; learn the basics or improve your sewing skills. Make a fun, easy project. All supplies are provided. The class is suitable for ages 13 and up. It takes place on Saturday, Jan. 20 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Registration is required.

- Friendship Bracelet Making
Love making friendship bracelets? Want to make Taylor Swift bracelets? Join the library for bracelet-making. All supplies are provided for the class, which is open for youth ages eight to 12. It runs on Monday, Jan. 15 from 4 to 5 p.m. Registration is required.
- Paint by Numbers for Adults
