Coquitlam is hosting its annual Holiday Bazaar at Glen Pine Pavilion this Sunday (Nov. 20).

Coquitlam is home to many talented people that use their hands to create masterpieces in art, clothing and home decor.

This weekend, local residents can view the results of their homepsun handiwork and find that special gift for someone on your Christmas list.

Coquitlam's Old Fashioned Holiday Bazaar is scheduled for Sunday (Nov. 20), co-hosted by the Glen Pine 50 Plus Society.

Crafters and quilters in the group will be displaying its treasures at the event in the Glen Pine Pavilion, hoping the public will appreciate the weeks and months it took to finish them.

Gifts up for sale include an array of knitted items, handmade crafts, tree decorations and cards.

Interested residents wanting to attend will find free parking at the bazaar — located at 1200 Glen Pine Ct., just one block from the Lafarge Lake-Douglas SkyTrain station.

Admission is also free to get inside, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own reuseable shopping bags.

The Old Fashioned Holiday Bazaar is scheduled for Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For more information, you can visit the City of Coquitlam's Facebook page or the Glen Pine Society's website.
