Second-hand goods on sale throughout Port Coquitlam, Port Moody this weekend

Both Port Coquitlam and Port Moody are promoting garage sales this weekend as a way to encourage recycling and reuse of consumer goods and to celebrate Earth Day

Port Coquitlam and Port Moody are having city-wide garage sales this Saturday, Apr. 22.

Bargains galore will be had this weekend during city-wide garage sales in Port Coquitlam and Port Moody.

On Saturday, April 22, homes across these two cities will be selling gently-used goods as a way of recycling in time for Earth Day.

Clothing give-aways

As well, some of the Port Moody garage sale participants will be giving away gently-used clothes. (You can find out who by studying the PoMo garage sale listings).

Meanwhile, in Port Coquitlam the city is also gearing up for the massive city-wide garage sale.

There is a map and llstings of dozens of garage sales on the city's website.

Bargain-hunters and garage sale pickers are encouraged to respect the hours of the garage sale.

While Port Moody encourages residents to start their garage sales at 9 a.m., please be aware that start and finish times will vary by location.
